Capacity Determines Output

Strength, endurance, focus and clarity are expressions of system capacity.
For many people, performance remains outwardly intact long after recovery capacity has begun to narrow. Sleep becomes less restorative. Energy less stable. Physical and cognitive recovery less complete.
Recovery capacity reflects the interaction between nervous system regulation, metabolic function, hormonal signalling, inflammation, circadian rhythm and cumulative physiological strain.
Shimalia approaches performance through the systems shaping resilience and recovery — identifying what supports adaptation, where reserve may be narrowing and what may be constraining sustained performance.
The objective is not simply greater output.
It is a system capable of sustaining performance under load.
